Eva María Llorens Simón

Eva María Llorens Simón has been a lecturer and researcher at the English Studies Department of the University of Alicante (UA, Spain) since 2009. She earned her PhD in Humanities for Modern Languages and a Master’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting. As a member of IULMA (Interuniversity Research Institute of Applied Modern Languages), its present Academic Secretary in Alicante, and of the Research Group IPA (Academic and Professional English), her main lines of research are Corpus Linguistics, Cognitive Linguistics, languages for specific purposes, specialised translation, and emotion in specialised languages.
